The Claxton Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. The contest between them and Savannah wasn't particularly close, with Claxton falling 46-30. Claxton has struggled against the Bluejackets recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Jayda Jordan and Zarriana Ortaviyah harden certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Jordan scored ten points, while Ortaviyah harden scored nine points.
Tania Bryant was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds for Savannah. The team also got some help courtesy of Ernajah Mallard, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Claxton has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Savannah, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.
