Cody Gasseling Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is East Valley's Cody Gasseling, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gasseling rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. He has become a key player for East Valley: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
East Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Gasseling will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Quincy on Friday.

Prosser found a leader in Jacob Rainer as the team took down Othello on Friday. Rainer turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 20 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 181 yards on 16 of 23 attempts.
Prosser is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Rainer and Prosser will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Selah at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Greyson Stevens Makes It Two for East Valley
Another East Valley player making an appearance on this list is Greyson Stevens. He picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 68 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Stevens might just drop another big game when he faces off against Quincy on Friday. Stevens picked up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Jackrabbits duked it out back in September of 2023.
