Covington came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Franklinton Demons 37-15. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Covington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but CATELYN YEAGER led the charge by putting up 12 points. Another player making a difference was LENIESHA BURRIS, who posted ten points.
