Edgewood extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Michael Robinson. The Rams blew past the Patterson Mill Huskies 36-14 on Friday with plenty of help from Robinson, who rushed for 255 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 105 yards and one TD while completing 73.3% of his passes. His longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards.
Edgewood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Malachi Robinson and Joshua Hammbrick. Robinson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Patterson Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood will take on C. Milton Wright at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
