Lutheran North won the last time they faced Metro and things went their way on Saturday too. The Crusaders blew past the Panthers 9-2. Considering the Crusaders have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

OSAR Tate was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Bateman, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

The win made it two in a row for Lutheran North and bumps their season record up to 12-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Metro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Lutheran North has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Valley Park on the 19th. Metro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
