Neighborhood Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Bulldogs are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 21 straight.

Sankofa Freedom Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Nafis Dubose and Asim Hardy. Dubose shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and five rebounds, while Hardy posted six points along with six boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Terrence Fortson, who scored five points and 12 rebounds.

Neighborhood Academy's win bumped their record up to 30-1. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-12.

As of now, neither Neighborhood Academy nor Sankofa Freedom Academy have any future games scheduled.
