After losing to the London Red Raiders the last time they met, the Bellefontaine Chieftains decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Bellefontaine came out on top against London by a score of 42-31 on Saturday.
Bellefontaine's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tiffany Boop led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six rebounds. Quinlan Zedeker was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Bellefontaine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for London, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellefontaine will take on Versailles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for London, they will head out on the road to face off against Indian Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
