The Keene Central Beavers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 46-28 bruising from Bolton Central on Wednesday. Keene Central lost against Bolton Central in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 51-36 score last time.
Bolton Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Thea Kennedy, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jadynn Egloff, who scored 11 points.
Keene Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bolton Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Keene Central will head out on the road to face off against Crown Point at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bolton Central, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lake George at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Lake George focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on Friday.
