Liberty Charter is a perfect 8-0 against Notus since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will welcome the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Liberty Charter will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Liberty Charter made easy work of Rimrock and carried off a 3-0 win.
Liberty Charter never let Rimrock on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.

Liberty Charter's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lillian Lozano, who had 13 digs and two aces, and Maci Nicley, who had eight digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave Lozano a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: Liberty Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in eight consecutive matchups.
Notus hadn't beaten Rimrock on the road since September 27, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Pirates came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 3-2.
Notus wouldn't go down easily and took Rimrock into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 15-25, 13-25, 16-14.
The victory got Liberty Charter back to even at 12-12. As for Notus, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Liberty Charter has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 9.1 aces per game. However, it's not like Notus struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
