Darin Fussell gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Tuesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Clay is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Fussell and Clay will head out on the road to take on Perrysburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fussell had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in May of 2024 12-2. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
