Indianola Academy will go up against St. Joseph in continuing playoff action on Friday. Averaging 32.33 points per game, the Indianola Academy squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully St. Joseph's defense is prepared for a test.
Indianola Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Winona Christian last week, winning 35-28.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph earned some more postseason success in their matchup last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Carroll Academy 20-18. Among those leading the charge for the Fighting Irish was Dillon Johnson, who picked up 68 yards on the ground on nine carries and accumulated 95 passing yards. Johnson has made a name for himself in St. Joseph's last five games, proving himself to be a reliable offensive weapon.
Everything went the Colonels' way against the Fighting Irish when the two teams last met in last August as they made off with a 42-14 win. Will Indianola Academy repeat their success, or does St. Joseph have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
