The Ozaukee Warriors will square off against the Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Ozaukee has struggled recently with 11 losses in a row, while Cedar Grove-Belgium will arrive with seven straight victories.
On Friday, Ozaukee didn't have quite enough to beat Mishicot and fell 8-6.

Dane Zimdars put in work while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Zimdars was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Colter Zimdars was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Mason Schroeder was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Cedar Grove-Belgium nor Whitefish Bay made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Rockets skirted past the Blue Dukes 6-5. That's two games straight that the Rockets have won by just one run.
Like Ozaukee, Cedar Grove-Belgium also got a great game from a two-way player: Ira Hilbelink. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Hilbelink was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Josh Anzia was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Connor Waters, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Ozaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.
