Haverling has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Livonia Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Haverling focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Last Friday, Haverling came up short against Dansville and fell 53-44. Haverling has not had much luck with Dansville recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Haverling had strong showings from Jacob Hagadone, who scored 15 points, and Lawrence Duncan iv, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 34.1% of Haverling's points, marking the 19th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Jarboe, who scored four points.
Meanwhile, Livonia didn't have too much trouble with Wayland-Cohocton at home on Thursday as they won 57-41. Given Livonia's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Wayland-Cohocton is ranked 832nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Haverling has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Livonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
