The Master's Academy Lions can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Community Christian Academy 65-3 on the road. That 62 points margin sets a new team best for The Master's Academy this season.
It was another big night for Faith Yelton, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Bumgarner, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
The win makes it two in a row for The Master's Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Community Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
The Master's Academy on the road again on Tuesday and play against N.C. School for the Deaf at 4:30 p.m. on January 30th. N.C. School for the Deaf comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Community Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinnacle Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
