The Holliday Eagles came tearing into Friday's match with 23 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 72-48 margin over Iowa Park. Holliday has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Keitenn Bristow was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Holliday's points. Another player making a difference was Grant Cox, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Holliday pushed their record up to 24-2 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Iowa Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Jacksboro the next time they take the court. Holliday will head out to face Jacksboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Iowa Park will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
