Luke Deperno Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, West Ranch got the W thanks in part to Luke Deperno playing the best football he has all season. Deperno rushed for 282 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
If the past is any indication, Deperno could be in store for another big game when he takes on Castaic on Thursday. Deperno rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry the last time he and the Coyotes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Zach Rogozik Has Career Rushing Day
On Friday, Hart got the W thanks in part to Zach Rogozik playing the best football he has all season. Rogozik rushed for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The win (which was Hart's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Rogozik and Hart will square off against Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bonner Made His Presence Known in Valencia's 55-7 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brian Bonner stepped things up a notch to give Valencia the 'W'. Nobody could stop Bonner as he rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 33 receiving yards.
On the season, Bonner has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 48.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 29.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 127.67 rushing yards.

Brady Bretthauer Makes It Two for Valencia
Another Valencia player making an appearance on this list is Brady Bretthauer. He threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
