Several Block Island players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kiley Ryan, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ryan has scored all season. Julianna Jaramilo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Block Island's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Davies Career & Tech, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Block Island will face off against the Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Rhode Island (Providence Country Day is ranked 40th, while the are ranked 44th). As for Davies Career & Tech, they will head out on the road to take on the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central and the Patriots are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
