BUENA PARK, Calif. - After four lead changes,
Buena Park (Calif.) took the lead for good when
Deven Boston ran for a touchdown with 4:00 to go in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
Sunny Hills (Fullerton, Calif.) 30-22 on Saturday.
After nabbing the lead on a touchdown, the Lancers went into halftime with a 7-6 lead. The Coyotes scored the winning points with a Boston touchdown run that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Buena Park still trailed by two points going into the fourth quarter. But 18 points in the fourth helped BP pull out the victory.
A 30-19 Buena Park victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The loss was the third in a row for Sunny Hills.
Buena Park (5-1) will play a Freeway game against Troy next week, while Sunny Hills (3-3) will take on La Habra also in a Freeway game.
