Given Bellaire's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Central Lake is ranked 501st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bellaire's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ellsworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Bellaire didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ellsworth in their previous meeting back in March, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win. Does Bellaire have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ellsworth turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
