After flying high against Blue River Valley  two weeks ago, Eastbrook came back down to earth. 2025 welcomed the Eastbrook Panthers with  a  47-21 loss courtesy of the Oak Hill Golden Eagles on Saturday.  Despite the loss, Eastbrook still got an impressive performance from   Mia Bustos, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten  points and nine  boards. That was a full 47.6% of Eastbrook's points, marking the third time in a row she's   posted  more than a third of the team's points.
 Oak Hill got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Landri Hardman out in front who  went 5 of 10  on her way to 11 points in addition to seven  steals and six  assists. Hardman has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  steals the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Morgan Cates, who  had eight points.
Eastbrook has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record  this season. As for Oak Hill, the  victory was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
 Eastbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  55-51  win against Madison-Grant on the 4th. As for Oak Hill, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  42-23  victory against Mississinewa on the 4th.
