The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Myka Richardson and Brooke Asher. Asher had a great game and scored 15 points. Meanwhile, Richardson did her best for the losing side, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Mason came tearing into Wednesday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Colerain at home to the tune of 64-22. Mason has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Mason's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Parrish, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Becca Sanders, who scored nine points.
Fairfield now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Mason, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
