The Paw Paw Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Harman 76-47 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Paw Paw has managed all season.
It was another big night for Donavan Tanouye, who scored 40 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Carder, who scored 11 points.
The win for Paw Paw keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Harman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paw Paw will square off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mountain View Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Harman, they will head out on the road to face off against Pendleton County at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Pendleton County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
