Seabreeze had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Matanzas Pirates on Tuesday as the Seabreeze Sandcrabs made off with a 26-6 win. The victory continues a trend for the Sandcrabs in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.

Seabreeze's receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Annabel Thistle and Camryn Chiumento. Thistle rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns while Chiumento picked up 38 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Seabreeze didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against Flagler Palm Coast on the 20th. As for Matanzas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 25-0 loss against New Smyrna Beach on the 19th.
