Hannah Florian made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jillienne Pittman was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Oliva Milton was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Chesterton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chesterton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Hobart struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Chesterton couldn't quite get it done against Hobart in their previous meeting back in April as they fell 10-7. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
