On Friday, Sandwich strolled past Woodstock North with points to spare, taking the game 21-6.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandwich to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nick Michalek, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Sandwich's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Woodstock North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Sandwich will be playing at home against Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgewood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Woodstock North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
