The Horizon Hawks took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They strolled past Rangeview with points to spare, taking the game 45-26. For Horizon, this counts as revenge for the 70-43 defeat Rangeview walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Horizon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaitlin Schumann, who scored 6 points along with 15 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Natalie Thornton, who scored 11 points.
Horizon's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Rangeview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Horizon will head out on the road to face off against Rock Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Rangeview, they will face off against Fossil Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th.
