Bryan Jangro and Carey Wells-Jowers provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Calvert Hall. The longest such play in MIAA A this season, the connection resulted in 64 yards.
Gilman extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Archbishop Spalding, 49-2. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Greyhounds.
Mount St. Joseph's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Gaels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jangro has thrown for 841 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Brandon Batts has 15 catches for 382 yards. Nevone McCrimmon leads the league in rushing with 829 yards.
A big matchup in MIAA A this week will be when Gilman takes on Loyola Blakefield. Biff Poggi's team is currently in third, while the Dons are in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Greyhounds take on Loyola Blakefield. Gilman has allowed 84 points this season, while Brant Hall's team has given up 95. The Greyhounds allowed 2 points last week as they beat the Cavaliers.
Gilman took down Archbishop Spalding 49-2 last week, the largest margin of any game.
