Basketball Game Preview: Colebrook Academy Mohawks vs. Lin-Wood Lumberjacks

Colebrook Academy is 8-2 against Lin-Wood since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Colebrook Academy Mohawks will be playing at home against the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks at 6:00 p.m. Colebrook Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight losses, while Lin-Wood will come in with four straight victories.

Last Friday, Colebrook Academy lost to Littleton on the road by a 64-50 margin. While losing is never fun, the Mohawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Crusaders are ranked second).

Meanwhile, Lin-Wood strolled past Moultonborough Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 77-63.

Lin-Wood pushed their record up to 6-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Colebrook Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
