The Freedom Patriots will challenge the Davenport Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Freedom turned things around against Innovation on Tuesday. They blew past the Bulls 8-2. The Patriots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 11th.
Freedom got a great performance from Wandy Soto as he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Davenport, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over East Ridge on Monday. Considering the Broncos' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Andrew Deacon made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). Deacon was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Davenport kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Davenport's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
