River Falls lost to Menomonie on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-2.

River Falls' victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Menomonie, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.
