Prairie had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 11-25, 25-12, 25-15, 15-3.
Prairie's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kali Sutter, who had 14 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Sutter has posted over her last six contests.
Prairie was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Weldon Valley lost 3-0 to Fleming on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Weldon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Prairie, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
