Jefferson Academy moved up to 379 from 406 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in GISA 1A. The Jaguars were able to move up by beating David Emanuel Academy 43-0.
Jefferson Academy made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,571 from 11,252. The advance stemmed from a 43-0 victory over the Eagles last week.
Curtis Baptist's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Christian Reid has thrown for 508 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Alphonzo Meyer has 8 catches for 169 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Bethlehem Christian Academy takes on Curtis Baptist. Bethlehem Christian Academy is currently in third, while the Crusaders are in first.
