The LaBrae Vikings will challenge the Ursuline Fighting Irish at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Tuesday, LaBrae got the win against Crestview by a conclusive 15-4. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.
Leah DeArmitt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.

Like LaBrae, Ursuline also got a great game from a two-way player: Emma Davies. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Davies was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. LaBrae hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Ursuline struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
