Whiting (Ind.) snatched the lead for good when it scored a touchdown in the first quarter, paving the way for victory over
South Central (Union Mills, Ind.) 33-12.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Oilers led 26-12 at the half.

The loss snapped the Satellites' 4-game winning streak.
The Oilers' standout player in the win was
Rudy Wanek. The senior wide receiver ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
Whiting went into the matchup giving up only 6.9 points per game. South Central came in surrendering 13.6 points per game this season. SC struggled against WHS, which came in averaging 40.9 points per game.
A 40-20 Whiting victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
