Cheyenne Mountain got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bruce iv Archambault out in front who threw for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Troy Heroldt and his 81 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Cheyenne Mountain's victory.
Coronado's defeat was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.7 points per game. As for Cheyenne Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
