Washington had a rough outing against Hempstead last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Washington came out on top against Dubuque Senior with a 10-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Washington, who in their last game suffered a tough 10-55 defeat.
The victory bumped Washington's record up to 1-2. The loss dropped Dubuque Senior's record to 1-2.
Next week Washington take on Jefferson at 7:00 PM. As for Dubuque Senior, they will face off against Iowa City West. Dubuque Senior come in off of 3 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
