McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 61-52 to the Kohala Cowboys. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Kohala, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

McKinley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kalani at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Kohala, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 87-16 victory against Laupahoehoe on the 17th.
