The Gibson Southern Titans came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over Evansville North. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Gibson Southern has scored all year.
Gibson Southern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Paige Schnaus out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Chloey Graham was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Gibson Southern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Evansville North, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.
