The Bronaugh Wildcats entered their tilt with the Pierce City Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bronaugh came out on top against Pierce City by a score of 58-50 on Tuesday. This was payback for Bronaugh, who suffered a 58-33 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Bronaugh to victory were Tucker Duncan and Strauss Banes. Duncan scored 22 points along with four steals, while Banes scored 30 points along with nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Banes has scored at least a third of Bronaugh's points.
Bronaugh's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pierce City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Bronaugh on the road again on Tuesday and play against Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Pierce City, they will be playing at home against Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
