The Greer Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to face off against the Pickens Blue Flame at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Greer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Greer will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Travelers Rest, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Greer's defense stepped up to hand Travelers Rest a 6-0 shutout last Thursday. Greer's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

They hit Travelers Rest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kim Gomez (3), Hallee Lackey (2), and Belinda Gomez.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Pickens was a bit more limited in their contest last Thursday. They fell just short of Berea by a score of 2-1.

Pickens' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Greer, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Greer might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Pickens when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Greer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
