Even though the South Haven Cardinals have not done well against the Caldwell Bluejays recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. South Haven walked away with a 57-50 win over Caldwell. For South Haven, this counts as revenge for the 51-24 defeat Caldwell walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Caldwell still got an impressive performance from Jackson Risley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Risley also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Layten Caruthers, who scored ten points.

South Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against Oxford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
