Pace dropped their record down to 1-8 with the  loss, which was their 13th straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Edcouch-Elsa,  the  win snapped their losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 4-10 record.
 Coming up, Pace will venture away from home to  face off against Lopez  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Edcouch-Elsa, they will host Weslaco East  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Weslaco East's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Edcouch-Elsa's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
