North Harrison is 6-1 against Scottsburg since August of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Harrison Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scottsburg Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
North Harrison fell victim to Providence's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Pioneers, falling 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, North Harrison couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Scottsburg was beaten by Brownstown Central 48-21 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Scottsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Brownstown Central is ranked 110th).
Despite the defeat, Scottsburg got a solid performance out of Lucas Toppe, who picked up 165 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Scottsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
