The Westfield Shamrocks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Hamilton Heights 86-37 at home. Westfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Nic Book, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charles Farrell, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Westfield's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Hamilton Heights, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westfield will take on University at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westfield is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Indiana (they are ranked fourth, while University is ranked 181st). As for Hamilton Heights, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rushville at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th.
