Last Saturday, Rural Vista [Hope/White City] earned a 56-49 victory over Herington. The win was just what Rural Vista [Hope/White City] needed coming off of a 58-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Northern Heights ended up a good deal behind West Franklin on Saturday and lost 62-44. While losing is never fun, Northern Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while West Franklin is ranked 89th).
Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Northern Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
