Hagerman added to the longest winning streak in 1A Snake River (8 Man) this week by beating Butte County, 65-20. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Pirates.
Hagerman took down the Pirates 65-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kade Kress threw for 407 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 96 yards during the win.
5-foot-10 quarterback Kress of Mark Kress' team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,217. He has also thrown 32 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Billy Sensabaugh. The Challis star has 34 catches for 635 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Pirates and Butte County. Hagerman enters the contest ranked second in the state, while Sam Thorngren's team ranks 11th.
In 119 carries Ruger Piva has put up 937 yards this year.
