Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joal Bray, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was John Rose, who scored two points along with 12 rebounds and four blocks.
Liberty Charter's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.3 points per game. As for High Tech Mesa, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-17.
Liberty Charter will head out on the road to take on Ocean View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for High Tech Mesa, they will be playing at home against High Tech NC at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (High Tech NC is ranked 1284th, while High Tech Mesa is ranked 1279th).
