Amherst County has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Rustburg, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
Amherst County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jefferson Forest at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson Forest will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Rustburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Liberty: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Rustburg has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
