The Washington Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nandua Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Friday, Washington was beaten by Cambridge-South Dorchester 54-6.
Nandua fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Arcadia 50-16 at home.
Washington's loss was their 16th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 2.3 points per game. As for Nandua, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Washington was taken down by Nandua 40-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. Will Washington have more luck at home instead of on the road?
