Basketball Recap: Manson Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Manson). They enjoyed a cozy 40-21 victory over the Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shaylen Kast, who posted seven points and three blocks. Kast is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played.

Manson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-19 win against Moses Lake Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 39-37 victory against Soap Lake on the 7th.
